Is Kindness Cleaning a good fit for my home?

Your weekends and free time were simply not made for housework. As your faithful housekeeping ally, we are happy to roll up our sleeves so that you don’t have to.  Everyone deserves to be pampered, and so does every home..

What should I expect during my first appointment?

Your cleaners will arrive equipped with all necessary cleaning supplies to take care of your home. We make it a point to get thoroughly acquainted with your space, so typically these appointments require the most time.

How can I prepare for a cleaning appointment?

We like to ask our customers to tidy up a bit before our team arrives. Anything that doesn’t need our attention can be tucked away.

How frequently should cleanings be scheduled?

We strongly recommend bi-monthly appointments to keep things comfortable and clean. Our Maintenance Cleans [link to tab] are catered to your schedule and needs. 

You missed a spot!

We strive to provide the best service, and we realize that cleaning can be a very subjective and personalized service.  If you are unhappy with any services provided, we ask that you notify us within 24 hours of your appointment. We will be happy to address and resolve the problem!

Can I book online or by phone?

Appointments can be made online or by phone. We’ll send you a reminder text or email 24 hours before your appointment either way. To reschedule or cancel, feel free to give us a ring or visit us online.s online.

How can I provide the Kindness team access to my space?

Your comfort is our first priority, so you’ve got a couple different options. Arrival windows are typically within an hour, and some clients feel fine leaving their home unlocked while others prefer to provide us with keys. We keep these in a secure location in-office, and keys are never accessible on days that cleanings aren’t scheduled. In the unlikely event that a key is misplaced, we’ll make sure to let you know right away.

How long does cleaning take?

This depends on the square footage of your space. Get in touch via phone or web and we will gladly give you an estimate.

Are you licensed and bonded?

Yep! We are formally licensed by Wallis & Wallis Insurance Co. Our bond number is 10081703. We complete background checks on each of our team members.

I’d like to refer a friend!

We cannot thank you enough for referring us! As a token of our appreciation, we reward one complimentary cleaning to ongoing clients when you refer a friend to us. The free cleaning will be credited to your account after your friend has had a Kindness Maintenance or Premium Clean.

Do you clean dishes or do laundry?

While at the moment we do not currently offer these services, we remain committed to re-evaluating our customers’ needs as we continue to grow, so this may change in the future.

Should I board my pets before a service?

Most of our clients have pets, and we understand just how overwhelming the experience can
be for some of our four-legged friends. If your pet is shy around others or uncomfortable with
strangers, we simply ask that you disclose this information while reserving your service
appointment to prevent any issues on either end. At this time, we do not clean litter boxes or
accidents.

Oh no something broke. What happened?

Our team of experts are trained to navigate your space and belongings with diligent care and respect. While we do our best to prevent even minor damage from occurring during a cleaning, the rare accident may happen. We will accept responsibility for such instances when we hear from you within 24 hours by either email or by phone. You’ll receive an incident form that must be completed and sent back to Kindness Cleaning within 3 days. Regrettably, we are unable to accept responsibility for damage reported outside this timeframe.
